Oily Skin

Hey Beautiful, we are moving on to oily skin, which is the one I have and it requires  a little bit more care than normal skin.
If your face feels greasy and shiny when you get up in the morning or during the day , or if you often have breakouts or blackheads it means you have oily skin.

Taking care of your skin!
If you have oily skin that means you have to wash your face everyday, twice a day with a cleanser for oily skin. You should also use some anti-acne creams and lotions to prevent (or cure) zits. You can add a toner or astringent ( try to get one with salicylic acid- which will strip off oil and prevent breakouts ) to your daily routine.

Makeup
If you have oily skin, you should pick makeup products which are water-based and oil free.

Normal or Combination Skin

Hey Beautiful, today I will try and help you  recognize different skin types, starting with Normal or Combination and also give you some tips on how to take care of your skin.
If your face is oily in T-zone (that we talked about in my previous blog), but otherwise normal it means you have normal or combination skin. For this skin type it is normal to have few breakouts, but not a lot.
How to clean it???
For normal skin type as I mentioned is not very usual to have a lot of breakouts, but if you don't take of it it will not be that way. You should take care of it in order to keep it nice and fresh. The best way to do that is to clean your face every day , twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon with a cleanser that is designed for a normal skin. For example my favorite brand is Clean and Clear. They have a lot of products for different skin types.

Skin types

Hey Beautiful, we are continuing with our series. Today we will talk about types of skin.
An easy way to find out your skin type is to take a tissue or a blotting paper and cut it into five pieces and press each piece to your nose, forehead, chin, and each cheek.Make sure you do this in the morning before you wash your face. Then see which one matches the best.
There are 4 basic types of skin:
1.NORMAL
If you have a little oil on the paper/tissue that means that you have normal skin.
2.OILY
If most of the tissues show some oil, that means that your skin is oily and you will need to use cleansers for oily skin which will help you balance it out.
3.DRY
If you don't see any spots of oil, that means you have dry skin.
4.COMBINATION
If you have oil spots on tissues you pressed on your nose, forehead and chin and not on cheeks, you have combination skin. Nose, forehead and chin is called T-zone and most people have oily skin there.

Facts about skin!

Hey Beautiful, today we are staring a series from scratch. I will guide to a full make-up routine. And today we start with skin!
I love having fun with make-up, except for one thing-BREAKOUTS! It's hard to feel pretty with your new blush or bronzer on if your face has little red bumps all over it. Even if you don't get zits (lucky you!) it's important to start your make-up routine with a clean slate. That means making sure your skin is clean and healthy and totally at its best!
Facts
To get clear skin, you first have to understand how your skin works. The top layer of your skin is made up of five layers of skin cells. The cells start out healthy, but as they work their up to the surface, they start to dry out and eventually flake off when they are replaced by new cells. For people with normal skin, you never see this, the skin replaces itself with no noticeable signs. For people with oily skin, sometimes those dead cells have a hard time falling off. If they are left on your skin, they can plug up pores and cause breakouts. And for people with dry skin , you can actually see their skin flaking off. There are tones of products that can help you, no matter what type of skin you have.
